Dunoon pupils publish study into Sexual Health services in Cowal

Pupils at Dunoon Grammar School have carried out a study into Sexual Health services in Cowal which as reported in the Dunoon Observer.

This is a topic that is really important for young people.

Robbie Coull, the GP at Strachur Medical Practice, said "I was so impressed with this work by pupils at Dunoon Grammar School.  It says to me that young people have a lot to say about their own healthcare and how that healthcare is delivered.  The study really hit home to me, and I think using our experience in setting up Patient Pariticipation Groups to set one up for young people is the best way we can help young people have their voice heard."

Your Health - Your Choice - Your Voice

We think this is the first time anyone has set up a Patient Engagement group for Young People in Scotland.

We need young people and allied professionals to get involved to make this Patient Participation Group a success.
